There are plenty of places near by to get involved in sports and recreation. Casey Fields, Casey Recreation and Aquatic Centre, Casey Indoor Sports Centre are all just a short drive away. There many schools close to Lynton, with Carlisle Park Primary School just a short stroll away. Chisholm Institute of TAFE and Monash University Berwick Campus are also within close proximity. There are a few supermarkets and other shops a few minutes drive from site, however there is a proposed commercial centre just seconds from Lynton.
